July 26, 2010 - Metstat introduces iRainStat A powerful, unique and affordable new way of looking at precipitation data in terms of an average recurrance interval (or probability) in near real-time.

July 8, 2010: Completed SPAS storm re-analysis of USACE Storm SP 1-29 (Feb 12-17, 1927) over southern California.

July 8, 2010: Updated design of CONUS ARI map posted on the Metstat.com homepage.

July 1, 2010 - Metstat begins delivering real-time quality-controlled
gauge precipitation data to Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. for use in a variety of operational products, including radar-estimated precipitation for the United States.

June 23, 2010: Completed SPAS storm re-analysis of HMR-57 Storm 80 (Jan 20-25, 1935) over the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.

May 2010: Completed the following detailed SPAS/SPAS-NEXRAD storm studies in support of a site-specific probable maximum precipitation (pmp) project in Texas:

March 1, 2010 - Real-Time version of Storm Precipitation Analysis System (SPASRT) is lunched. Service package includes high resolution gauged-adjusted radar precipitation, ARI maps, DAD plots, and more!

December 2009: Played a role in the release of the final U.S. Pacific Islands (NOAA Atlas 14 Volume 5) updated precipitation frequency estimates. Visit the Precipitation Frequency Data Server for more details. 

October 26, 2009 - Metstat begins daily posting of 24-hour average recurrence interval precipitation map for U.S.

October 2004: Metstat and Tye W.
